Finding a good Insurance Agent
My wife had been looking for several weeks trying to find a new insurance agent
. She had asked a bunch of people she knew at work and even some of the neighbors. While everyone gave her a recommendation, there was no prevalent choice.
I looked online and found that a number of people were recommending a website called www.grayboxx.com. This site returned search results based on what other people in the area were looking for and did not take money from companies to get their website moved up in the returns.
I went ahead and visited the site, and did a search for insurance agents in Denver. The results came right up and I began to compare the recommendations with those of our neighbors and co-workers. At last, a few of them were duplicated and I found the courage to show my wife.
My wife is very cautious of anything found on the Internet and I knew she would probably reject this site unless I could show her how it was different. I did my research and then took her to the site so she could look around herself. After she read how the site worked and what they hoped to accomplish, she looked at my results.
She wanted to try it out for herself and tried looking in different ways to see if the same results always came up. She went through the city directory and through all categories and got the same results each time. Therefore, she called the two top choices and met with each agent. Both agents turned out to be very good so she had a tough time making a final decision. |
