The Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDA) said it would not make any more regulatory changes. The industry needs to stabilise post the new ULIP guidelines, he said.

IRDA stated that life insurers are shying away from launching new ULIPS and were now focusing only on the launch of traditional products. The insurance regulator said that a majority of new products filed were traditional.
