The Ultimate Wealth

What is "the ultimate wealth"? Notice if your mind immediately went to the thought of 'money' as the equivalent of 'wealth'.
What do you notice are your thoughts when you define wealth as the amount of money that you have? What are your feelings? What sensations in your body are present? Pause. Take a moment and notice what is there for you to learn about you before read-ing further.
Ask yourself in this quiet place: How fulfilled am I in this area? Do I truly have the sense of having 'enough'?

It's important to note that having money can give a sense of financial freedom and abundance, and it doesn't bring happiness. We see this clearly in the media which gives us the opportunity to observe the lives of the rich and famous. This isn't about making it wrong to desire wealth. It's the awareness that true abundance actually comes when we stop being attached to it - striving and struggling and trying hard to make it instead of feeling content right where we are.
I have noticed this about myself. Trusting that I am supported and feeling content with what I have NOW has made a huge difference for me. I look at my health, a kind, loving and fun life partner, my family which includes his along with mine, my many friends and close colleagues, my beloved dog, my nourishing home, a career that I'm passionate about, wonderful clients ....the list goes on and on. And I feel strong and grateful and happy as I stop and remember.
I am also very aware that 'the ultimate wealth' goes deeper than all of this. Identifying with my spirit instead of my ego brings me a sense of inner peace that is priceless and translates as being the ultimate wealth to me. Knowing that I'm more than my personal-ity - that I am interconnected with All That Is - brings me a sense of bliss that cannot be purchased.

What would be a definition that creates a sense of contentment deep inside of you? In claiming your life as your own, what is the ultimate wealth for YOU?
The following are some options that may support you in expanding how you define wealth: *Knowing that you live in integrity, supporting yourself and others to live happy, suc-cessful, peaceful lives can bring a sense of well-being and a guilt-free inner world that can constitute true wealth.

* A sense of well-being and pleasure that results from creating a legacy that has a posi-tive impact on the future.
* Joy that comes from knowing and expressing your purpose in ways that are true and authentic to your natural essence.
* Spontaneously expressing yourself in all that you do, sharing your joy and passion with those around you.
* The inner peace that comes from a deep connection to and identification with your spirit.
* The sense of aliveness and vitality that comes from enjoying the simple pleasures of life.
* The abundance of time to do what you want to do.
* Knowing how to practice true generosity - giving and receiving - which is the art of let-ting go.
* The ability to laugh at yourself and take life lightly.
* A core, inner-child knowing that you are loved and accepted by you for ALL of your humanness which is reflected by others in your world.

Let's explore further. Choose a perspective - either your own or one that was suggested above that feels right at a body level. You know it's right as it will bring you a sense of relaxation and expansion in your heart. For the sake of deeper clarity, complete the sentence, IF ONLY I had _______, I would feel ________. The feeling is the clue as to what you are truly missing in your life.
What is different for you when you define being wealthy outside of the realm of the money perspective? Imagine living in that perspective.
